Success of Communist Ideas in American Government Essay example -- Exp
The Success of Communist Ideas in American Government à à â Ever since the start of the Cold War, Americans have held Socialism to have many negative undertones. Our nation has been centered around forestalling the spread of that abhorrent type of government. Wars were battled in remote terrains; American lives were lost shielding the world from Communism. Numerous Americans would be appalled, at that point, to find that the noble arrangement of Capitalism really consolidates numerous Communist thoughts. Actually, huge numbers of Karl Marx's extreme thoughts have arrived at the most crucial foundations in the United States government; the legislature that did its best to keep the seeds of Communism from flourishing in different nations. à à â â â The administration Karl Marx imagined has never come around. The Socialist governments we're all acquainted with, for example, the ones in China and the previous USSR, never verged on accomplishing genuine Communism. They can be better depicted as autocracies, instead of governments for the individuals. In that capacity, the US was right in forestalling their power over the world. Be that as it may, because of the utilization of the mark Socialism, numerous Americans have compared this thing with fascism. Marcel Duchamp Why Is the Fountain Art
The inside and out Artist of the What was Fountain initially submitted for and what befallen it? The 1917 urinal otherwise known as Fountain was initially put in plain view during an act advancing Avant grade workmanship. Avant grade implies advance gatekeeper which is a military term. Vanguard was workmanship development which began in France in 1850 so as to open the eyes and all the more along these lines, ridicule or stun the normal or first class watcher. To put a regular, normal thing in plain view and call it craftsmanship. For huge numbers of the high society chiefs of the appearing, this piece was crazy and they didn't get it and thought it an affront of sorts. Not long after its sole show, the Fountain coincidentally vanished. This specific piece was one of the more recalled bits of these prepared mades that Duchamp created. Different craftsmen from 1850, which was the start of the Avant Garde Movement, to roughly 1970, likewise had notable bits of craftsmanship that was shown to the tip top, rich, and high society watchers, including Andy Warhol, Rockefeller and Basquit. The pieces were to shake there still, small voice and make them look further at customary pieces and pretty much humble them in a manner or ridicule their tip top, gaudy, unsettled, society waysSalvador Dali The Love of Zero, a 1927 film by Robert Florey. Is a bit of workmanship like the Fountain counterfeiting or is it craftsmanship by uprightness of choice? The bit of workmanship like the Fountain could be viewed as literary theft by some on the grounds that the innovation of the piece was not made by the craftsman themselves however by another person. The craftsman simply utilized another people conventional, regular development or family unit thing per state and showed it as a bit of workmanship. The common thing at that point changed from the customary thing with a modest use and reason to a bit of workmanship in plain view making the watcher scan further for what the craftsman may have implied by utilizing it. A similar piece could likewise be viewed as Art by goodness of determination too. Being that the specific craftsmanship piece in plain view has an alternate importance for every watcher; a similar piece put in plain view by various specialists would again have an alternate significance to them too. Any craftsman could have an assortment of pieces that he feels is his absolute best perfect works of art while a watcher may consider that to be assortment as the most noticeably awful thing he has ever observed. It is all according to the spectator. Workmanship by uprightness of determination implies that is a choice from or by the craftsman with regards to what he feels is an engaging or is the thing that he might want or lean toward for himself. With that, we need to welcome that every one of us are one of a kind and have our own individual tastes. 3. What is the Dada development? What bit of workmanship brought forth the Dada development? Dada development began in Zurich in 1916-1923 was likewise called (The Non Movement By Shelley Esaak). A gathering of specialists and scholars, during World War 1 conflicted with the war and the general public and societies of the watcher that approved the war or caused its creation . This gathering were like the radicals of the 60s, who challenged the legislature and war, yet did as such with silliness, cleverness and mockery yet not outrage as the later. , Duchamp, being among that gathering, was the maker of a large number of those mocking pieces and had a ton of fun of effectively notable bits of craftsmanship. They took various subjects, adjusted them in trusting that the high society residents or the tip top would adore it, detest it or accept it as the mocking, diverting and clever piece they had proposed for it to be. A genuine case of this is the representation painting of the scandalous Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. Duchamp had doodled a mustache and goatee on the womans face. Obviously this was clever. to numerous and offending to other people, all the more so to the world class, high society supporters of the last mentioned. Duchamp and his kindred craftsmen were not really debasing or disparaging the workmanship nor attempting to be furious and angry; yet more so get the consideration of the watcher to not concentrate on the current war, their high life living, administrative standards and convictions 4. Glance through Duchamps other work of art? What pieces do you like and why? What was his motivation for those pieces? In the wake of looking into with extraordinary interest and enthusiasm for the implications of Marcel Duchamps work, yet his whole lifes occasions. He appeared to have such a profound, clever on occasion to the point of nearly pity picture and perspective on his general surroundings. It is difficult to choose if he is ridiculing society, ridiculing it and figures him better than simply attentive to the human observation. I was particularly intrigued on his self picture of himself as a scandalous, dark, socialite, administrator, Belle da Costa Greene. Whose guardians had. Dwelled in the countries capital until they separated . Her, her mom and kin had the option to play off that they were of a white legacy with their fair complexion. She proceeded to be the individual bookkeeper to JP Morgan and afterward to his child Jack. With her significant excellence and straightforward insight, she got acknowledged as an exceptionally tip top socialite among the tradesman, sellers and Madison Avenues society. She had never hitched and lived as the Morgans individual custodian till her demise retirement in 1948 and passing two years after the fact. Her notable ability and boundless accessible assets to make exchanges for her broad fabricated library she was very much regarded and ready to be blend among the most elevated society gatherings, she once reported, Just in light of the fact that I am a bookkeeper with an and acquiring an enormous entirety of cash A declaration she had made as a maxim for every state for herself, Just on the grounds that I am an administrator, doesnt mean I have dress like one. She had fashioner garments and uncommon fascinating looks, was once inquired as to whether she was Mr. Morgans fancy woman and her solitary reaction was We Tried Mr. Morgan had left her $50,000. 00 in his will. The top to bottom data was pending to the finish of my own observation and Marcel Duchamps importance behind the picture of himself dressed as a rich socialite: Rrose Selavy Was he ridiculing her and the insider facts she kept of hersefl througout her life or would he say he was simply captivated by her just as other people who was her aqaintances? I think that its fascinating take as to might suspect he would utilize her as a readymade maybe Rrose Selavy (Marcel Duchamp).

William Shakespeare s Oedipus Tyrannus - 1531 Words
Oedipus Tyrannus is a play written by Sophocles, and it deals with the interactions between divine justice/fate and human control in the events that take place for Oedipus. He is the son of King Laius and Queen Jocasta but he was given away as an infant due to news of a horrid oracle that would destroy the kingdom and his parents. Apolloââ¬â¢s oracle shows that Oedipusââ¬â¢s destiny and life as a whole was already predetermined before he was born and that Oedipus has no choice that would affect those events. However the entire play is about the choices Oedipus is making, the investigation that brings him down is his own and the curse under which he falls is the one he utters from his own mouth. Oedipus goes from a prideful, arrogant and heroic king to a condemned humble man due to his tragic fate at the end of the play. Oedipus may not be happy towards the end of the play as opposed to the beginning but he reaches a point in which he is content. Oedipus is less free at the begi nning of the play as compared to the end because he is tied down by the miasma and hubris that surround him after he killed his father. In the end of the play Oedipus finally has full knowledge of who he is, and he blinds himself in a rage of penitence, accepting total responsibility, by saying his actions as well as the godââ¬â¢s fate are responsible for what he did, and he is determined to take the punishment of exile as well. Ineffective Practices Beachside Impacts â⬠Myassignmenthelp.Com
Question: Discuss About The Ineffective Practices Beachside Impacts? Answer: Introducation One of the ineffective practice used by Beachside Hotel is the application of outside recruitment method for the hotel manager. The hotel seems to take the workers and hire them from other hotels. It is inappropriate because a new General manager will not have a good history of the hotel. Consider Joe in sunrise hotel. Joe started as a front manager in Sunrise hotel and advanced towards becoming the general management. He has a good history, organizational culture of sunrise hotel and he is able to transform Sunrise hotel to a better position. The impact of outside recruitment especially in higher management position is that, the organization may lose customers because of a change resulted by a new general manager. The new employee takes time to learn the organization culture and adapt, therefore, the hotel may be stagnant in development (Herman, Huang Lam, 2013, p.763). Neglecting employee recognition of their performance Another ineffective practice is failing to recognize the employee performances which in turn kills motivation in the hotel. A non-motivated environment is not conducive for work. Beachside hotel does not offer motivation to its employee. Nobody is concerned about the welfare of the employee as the HR practitioner is concerned with recruiting new workers. The results of lacking motivation lead to employee turnover (Long, Ajagbe Kowang, 2014, p.103) To beachside hotel, the average rate of tenure is too low compared to Sunrise hotel. beachside hotel rate is 3 months while for Sunrise it is 4 years. In fact, this is incomparable. Sending employees off and hiring others frequently, will affect the occupancy as well as customers will not get uniformity of service. Operating without the policy guide There is no policy guide in Beach guide hotel. A policy is the guide that directs the organization on what to do and how to do it. If beachside hotel doesnt have that policy guide, there is no future. Policies based on hiring or recruiting new employees, policies of service among others should be included in the guide. If beachside hotel does not have them, then it would not perform as Sunrise hotel is doing. For instance, Brian is not involved in hiring employees, the lady who does it has no manual on how to do it and no policies to guide her. Therefore, things are done carelessly, employees psychological contract broken and the hotels income is affected. Practices at the beachside hotel that could cause a staff member to launch a grievance A staff member can launch a grievance against the hotel for late payments of their salaries. According to New Zealand employment rights, workers should be paid the agreed wages or the remuneration fees. Failure to which, a worker is allowed to launch a grievance against the company. The grievance can be launched on the basis of breaking the agreed terms and conditions of service in the hotel. Another grievance can be laid based on firing the staff members. There is a record where the company hires new employees after either firing the existing ones on the basis of performance or due to employee turnover (Hausknecht Holwerda, 2013, p.210). However, if the process for financial an employee is not carried on as legally expected. The staff member can raise a grievance based on that. The reason is because, an abrupt firing of an employee results to a bad experience to the party involved because of no preparation through communication and procedural approaches to denouncing of someones services. The process that Brian should use in for resolving the grievances The process should start with the staff member who writes a letter to the employer setting out the details of the grievance such as the reason or the basis for the grievance. In this part, the employee should suggest how the grievance could be solved. After Brian receive the grievance on writing, he should consider it and set a date for solving it with the employee. In this meeting, Brian should seek to grasp the facts about the grievance and deliberate with the staff member or the employee on hoe the issue will be solved. Brian should also be prepared to handle the issue written to him as the general manager of the hotel because if the staff member notices that Brian is not ready to hear about the grievance, he/she may decide to take the issue to the legal authority and result to a penalty for compensation of the workers. The hotels can even be kept on hold if a certified trade union official in New Zealand ruled in favor of the employees based on the poor working conditions or environment. Then Brian checks the suggestions to settle the grievance and writes back to the staff member a letter bearing the action or the response towards settling the proven problem.Specific recruitment and selection procedures that could be implement ed in the Beachside hotel. Identify the vacancy and develop the position description The process starts by identifying the vacancy and developing a position description. This involves the team of managers together with the HR department who meets to identify the need they have and what the type of the employee they need for that work. Beachside hotel could identify the gap in their hotel, if for example, the front manager, the hotel then describes the qualities and qualifications as the first step. Develop a recruitment plan The second step would involve developing a recruitment plan. The Beachside hotel team of managers should then device the plan that they would use for advertising the position, recruitment and employment process. The plan would also describe the type of method they would use for selecting of the employee they require. It may be through interviews, random selection or purposive employee selection. Conduct an Interview The third step will include conducting an interview where the selected individuals are invited to present themselves before the managers board. Interested individuals are evaluated on the basis of experience, education achievement and attainment, recommendations from previous firms and also personality. This step would help the employers in Beachside hotel to have a person who is able to deliver good services to the hotel and also a person of good conduct and reputation from the acknowledged referees. Select and Hire The final step is select and hire. The person who have achieved the position description is considered for the post. The Beachside hotel will be assured that the person who they have selected for a specific task is in a position to do it efficiently and professionally. Workers who have been selected this way are able to deliver for the hotel. For Beachside hotel, there would be seen a positive deviation in all aspects ranging from customer satisfaction, reduced turnover and also occupancy (Ritesh, 2014). The process used by Beachside hotel that has resulted Mary be in her current position. Advantages The advantage is that; Beachside hotel will be in a position to retain Mary. Considering that Mary was unable to perform at the front desk, the organization was to fire her. Redeploying an employee or reshuffling of positions helps to retain him/her in a new post which he/she may perform better. Mary for instance would improve on her level of performance as a Human Resource Management Practitioner. Another advantage is that, there is reduced recruitment cost. The reason is that, Beachside hotel did not have to go through the whole recruitment and selecting procedure as Mary was their workmate and they knew much about her. The process of transferring an underperforming employee to a new task is not a guarantee that they will perform well. At the front desk, Mary was not able to handle the customers. When it comes to the HR department, she is not performing at all because there are late payments, no motivation of the employees and turnover rate is very high (Long, Ajagbe Kowang, 2014, p.103). There is no criteria or policies for promotions in Beachside hotel. One would ask themselves, which criteria was used for Mary to become a HR practitioner? The reason is that; she did not achieve or added educational merits but it was just a single persons idea. The shift in position for the case of Mary results to breaking the psychological contract for other employee who are hardworking and dedicated in service. A person who deserved that position was not Mary but, since she was given the post, other workers must have felt unjustified and the results would be poor performance. Other HR initiatives that could be undertaken by Sunrise in order to help with the overall performance of the Organization. Creating flexible working hours Joe and his team can initiate flexible working hours for the employees. The initiative would make the workers free to choose their most convenient working hours and provide their services extensively for the hours at work. The initiative would assure the workers freedom of choice and the performance would increase (De Menezes Kelliher, 2016, p.58). According to the research done in United States of America, organizations that allows the workers to work at their flexible and convenient time for each, were noted with an increase of performance by a 12%. Sunrise would make a step further by giving its employees a flexible working scheme. Employee engagement Engaging the employee in making decisions and suggesting workable ideas would work very well for Sunrise hotel. Workers needs to feel as part of the organization. They should not be just subjects for receiving orders (Mone London, 2014, p.37). The initiative would help the organization to develop the skills and monitor talents of the employee. Those who have nice ideas are motivated to bring them on board and they are implemented. Overall performance is finally increased. References De Menezes, L. M., Kelliher, C. (2016). Ethical and Socially Responsive Business Ruby Tuesdays free essay sample
Ruby Tuesdayââ¬â¢s vision is to provide great value to their guests and a great working environment for their team members by reflecting their core values of Quality, Passion, and Pride in everything the company does. The company adopted a Code of Business Conduct and Ethics to confirm its commitment to conduct business with the highest integrity. Compliance with Laws, Rules, and Regulations is, to me, the most important area in a companyââ¬â¢s code of conduct. Complying with laws, rules, and regulations includes preventing harassment and discrimination, improper payments, and environmental compliance. When companies are in compliance they are not putting themselves at risk of huge fines, lawsuits, and negativity towards their company. In 2007, the Rosen family filed a lawsuit against Ruby Tuesdays, Inc. for discrimination against their religious beliefs. They believed that an employee that worked in the restaurant in Athens, Ohio had intentionally burnt a swastika into the bottom of the bowl that their food was served in. That is just an example of what can happen if a company does not train their employees to be ethically responsible. This also means complying with the rules for any form of harassment or discrimination against your co-workers. Improper payments refers to taking bribes or kickbacks as a payment for a service within a company. To me, this is just morally and ethically wrong. Environmental compliance refers to being committed to eliminating hazards within the workplace and providing a safe and healthy work environment. These are significant to their company because they donââ¬â¢t want the negativity that can come from lawsuits and fines. The negativity could ruin the company and force them to close. Financial and Accounting Integrity is also an important aspect in a companyââ¬â¢s code of conduct. Ruby Tuesday Inc. ââ¬â¢s code of conduct prohibits all fraudulent activity that involves; dishonest acts, embezzlement of the companyââ¬â¢s funds, forgery or alterations on checks or drafts, conversion of funds for personal use, unauthorized handling or reporting transactions, and falsification of the companyââ¬â¢s financial statements or records. This is significant because again it could result in unwanted fines, lawsuits, and negativity towards the company. If companies are not properly funding their organizations or if employees are embezzling money for personal uses, it is not going to look positive for the company. This could ruin their business in a whole because customers will not want to do business with people that are unethical. Confidentiality is also an important aspect in a companyââ¬â¢s code of conduct. Ruby Tuesday Inc. ââ¬â¢s code of conduct states that the protection and proper use of confidential information or trade secrets in its possession are fundamental to its ability to conduct the companyââ¬â¢s business. This is significant to business because if workers go around telling people about their secrets and confidential information, they are then telling people how the company runs business, giving the competitors when they need to compete. Some key steps that Ruby Tuesdayââ¬â¢s should use to ensure that employees are following the code of conduct are training and continued training, consequences for not following them, and management presenting themselves as morally and ethically responsible. Training of their codes of conduct should start in the training process and should continue throughout their employment with the company. They could hold monthly meetings that stress one of the factors of the code, eventually all of them would be covered. They could also discuss unethical issues that they are facing or that others are facing to stress that unethical behavior will not be allowed in their company. The employees also have to know that there are consequences if they act or perform unethical tasks. If there are not consequences, I feel that employees are more apt to act unethically, feeling that they can get away with it or not get into trouble. Managers presenting themselves morally and ethically responsible proves to the employee that they are serious, and that they are not just being told to act that way, but that their bosses also act that way. If a company has a manger that is acting unethical or morally wrong, I feel that the employee will see this as the right thing to do and follow in the bossââ¬â¢s footsteps. Three ways that I feel that Ruby Tuesdayââ¬â¢s could engage in socially responsive activities in their communities is by contributing to a local charity and becoming thoroughly active and interested in the charity, creating a loyalty program, and by starting up applications for smartphones. By contributing to a local charity and being active in it, they are showing the community that they are concerned about the people in the community. They are showing that they are empathetic and that they are willing to help the community in need, when they are able. They are also showing that they are willing to support the community that is supporting their business. Creating loyalty programs they are showing their customers that they want them to return and that they are willing to offer something for continuing to do business with the company. These could be as simple as buy so many of one product and receive one for free or it could be something more like having dinner with the chef. Starting up applications for smartphones is the latest way to stay in contact with customers. This enables the company to get information out to their customers who want to hear from them due to them downloading the application. Applications also get information out there to customers who are trying to make the decision as to where to eat. Applications can also be used in conjunction with the loyalty programs as a way of tracking their loyalty points. It is expected from customers that companies perform in ethical and moral ways. Every company should have a code of conduct that is given to, explained and trained to all of their employees. This training should not only consist of one session, but many sessions as they continue their employment with the company. References: Hansen, S., et al. Levittown Essays - Levittown, McCarthyism, Levittown, Pennsylvania
Levittown Essays - Levittown, McCarthyism, Levittown, Pennsylvania Levittown Levittown is a suburban community (one of the earliest suburbs) built and planned by Levitt and Sons. Most of this land was purchased in 1951. What made Levittown different from every other area being built during the same time was that it was built as a whole community. Levittown utilized mass productions technique in order to achieve the task of building inexpensive houses in the suburban area of New York in order to take away the postwar (World War II) housing shortage. There were also plenty of jobs in Levittown such as General Motors and US steel Fairless Works for people looking to find work after the war. This then led to diverse communities and homes for lower- middle class families. Levittown is significant because it was symbolic of the nations big change into suburban living and a suburban culture. It was a reversal of the urbanization process. All these new suburban-like communities were rising in the Sunbelt states as well, especially for people who were about to retire. As re-election started to get closer and closer, McCarthy who wasnt so lucky during his first term was trying to think of ways he could make sure his political success was in the bag. So McCarthy consulted a fellow anti-communist named Edmund Walsh and decided to take advantage of the nations wave of terror against communism. They came together with a list of possible communists living within the United States and demanded an investigation for each of them. The bad thing wasnt the investigations. The bad thing was the fact that not all of them were even communists to begin with. Some were simply just alcoholics or sexual deviants. This is very similar to the Salem Witch Trials except this fear of communism was called McCarthyism. McCarthy went on to accuse several innocent people even though his evidence was not so great. McCarthyism began to fall apart when he started to investigate communism within the military. This was it for Eisenhower and he decided finally that McCarthy needed to be stopped now. People also helped the effort and sent information about McCarthy and advisors abusing his congressional privileges to known critics of McCarthy. They published unflattering articles about McCarthy and his methods. The nation soon saw how bad McCarthy was and he lost his position as chairmanship on the Government Committee on Operation of the Senate.

Assignment Example Therefore, the participation of these different groups makes procurement a cross-disciplinary process. Public beheading means killing a supplier in public when they do not meet the supply requirements. Such an action invokes efficiency in supply, given that non-performance leads to death. Consequently, most suppliers at this time ensured that they fulfilled the requirement of the king by all means, which promoted operations in the kingdom. However, the lack of power in the hands of the suppliers led to their oppression, given that the market at times faces uncertainties that could affect supply. Following the establishment of the law of contract, an organization can choose to sue a supplier who does not abide by the contract terms of delivery. In other cases, an organization can work with multiple suppliers, to, maintain continuity of operations when one supplier fails. I believe in the power of negotiations. Interacting with suppliers can enhance this skill as relations can be built between the organization and the suppliers. Consequently, an organization can bargain for better prices, thus leading to low cost of purchasing. The low cost translates into low product prices, thus increasing the competitive edge of the organization. Alternatively, the organization can negotiate for suitable credit terms that allow it to operate normally in cases of reduced cash flow. Technical skills also play a major role in procurement. The quintessence of discontinuous innovation Essay Example for Free
The quintessence of discontinuous innovation Essay Birkinshaw et al. , (2006) discovered the quintessence of discontinuous innovation. It emphasized that businesses need to think strategically and must impede the existing course of action. They must analyze the competitive environment and the diverse threats and opportunities and must adapt to change management. Corporations must recognize true cronies, build brawny rapport and opt for set of connections and associations. A paradigm shift: Discontinuous innovation takes places in many ways like technological breakthroughs, exploring new markets or due to change in economic and political situation. Nevertheless such revolutionary changes have a vibrant impact on the overall external environment. It has been instigated that new product development is done by small players and major players adapt to those practices and outperform small players. Several corporations go through transitions and renovation and further improve their business models like IBM. Some of the major reasons due to which firms have to make lots of efforts to systematically perform with discontinuous innovation include: â⬠¢ There exist uncertainty â⬠¢ It is complicated â⬠¢ Firms are reactive rather than proactive Many firms find it impromptu and bring to a close the entire business plan and try to allocate investment in a more certain project. More importantly corporations and firms find it difficult to challenge the conventional wisdom and continue to follow the existing systems, process, and procedures and resist change. It is said that long-term relationships assists in achieving success. Unfortunately such binding forces become one of the major predicaments to change. Apple Corporation faced lots of issues when it refused to engage in relationship with diverse business partners. A process for building networks: It comprises of three stages: â⬠¢ Finding: In order to undergo some sort of partnership or relationship with an individual organization, one must first identify the right organization and gather as much information about that firm. One must keep in mind the vision and scope of business operations and challenging traditional ways of doing business. There should be no geographical, political or institutional barriers for creating a long-term sustainable network. â⬠¢ Forming: It requires analyzing the willingness of business partner for creating the network. It also depends on reputation, worth and financial position of the firm in the industry. The research presents four generic approaches in order to undergo relationship: ? Business must opt for partner with whom it is easier to undergo relationship. The agreement must carefully solve different geographical and institutional barriers. It must be a win-win otherwise no deal. ? Firms must look for the best among thousands. It should take assistance of boundary spanners and scouts for long-term successful relationships. Businesses must take help from specialized firms to perform as an intermediary between two companies. It must be considered as a learning opportunity rather than a contract and internal customers must be empowered to opt for the applications of the knowledge gained. ? Business look for utterly unlike partners where prominence is given to shared goals and benefits. Both the firms try to bridge the gaps and look for the most appropriate and sustainable options. Both firms agree on mutual consent and look for major issues. Sometimes cross-individuals can assist as an intermediary. ? Sometimes partners neither belong to the similar industry nor do they want to engage in any sort of relationship with the firm. In such case firm must try to overcome institutional and geographical gaps between the two. It requires specialist who are network builders which can provide effective solutions. â⬠¢ Performing: In performing their exist different set of barriers like difference of attitude regarding intellectual property, building commitment and trust and surfacing ethnic, institutional and ideological dissimilarities between network partners. A number of relationship networks reach the maturity level and understand difficult situations. Four challenges have been identified as follows: ? More often networks are formulated for future concerns and as a result they overlook most recent problems hence upshot into failure. Therefore network must be realistic and it must be updated on regular bases. ? It is all about trust, reciprocity and shared values which create healthy relationships among partners. ? The dominated firm must not perform as an authoritative and should look for dynamic opportunities. It is not a single player game and it requires cooperation and collaboration between both. ? Businesses establish and learn from relationships. Introduction: In this contemporary era, emerging players demonstrate dissimilar set of skills, unlike partners and proficiencies which are difficult to conjure up. The practice has remained as a paradigm for FMCGs and technological businesses. Companies look for long-term and profitable business models and try to create collaborations and alliances with suppliers and business partners. Big businesses strategically look for both direct and indirect competitors. Critical examination of the piece: Q. 1 Do you agree or disagree with the authorââ¬â¢s basic premise? Why or why not? Answer. The Canvassers have elaborated successful business model for future growth, sustainability and prosperity. The concept of discontinuous innovation occupies a broader scope and one must engross the key concepts in order to gain competitive advantage. It results into incremental innovation, creative destruction and assists in gaining dynamic knowledge to understand the issue. Q. 2 Have the ideas held up over time, or do they now seem to be insufficient or incorrect? Answer. It seems creative and a contemporary philosophy. Firms will be facilitated with the notion and it has diverse implications. The realm remains that as the human race progress, it will further improve. It has introduced the concept of radical innovation. It helped British Petroleum a lot through different stages. Q. 3 Are the conclusions generalizable, or do they appear to be limited to specific types of industries, firms, activities, sectors, etc.? Answer. It is a generalize concept which has a broader scope. More importantly it requires strategic thinking. The research paper presents its implications in FMCGs, Technological industry, Pharmaceutical business, Advertising agencies and many more. More importantly it is not a one side approach and productive solutions are achieved through cross-functional approach, team work, decentralization and empowerment. Q. 4 Explain. In what way can this article be extended, i. e. , what ideas might the author address in a follow-on article? Answer. It is an interesting research paper with intellectual findings. The follow-on dissertation might include key characteristics of different network relationships. The research should highlight key reason why major companies collapsed and what actions they can take to improve. It must also involve the role of those companies which are at the growth level of the business and it should highlight the implications for new product development businesses. Q. 5 finally as a concluding comment, what idea(s) did you find to be most enlightening? Why? Answer. Most important is the true fact that businesses must discontinue and look for new business models, processes, procedures and ethical code of conducts. The highlighted barriers like geographical and institutional and they have remained major constraints among collaborations and alliances and most of the businesses are still performing transactional bases. Conclusion: There prevail major challenges for both MNCs and global corporation. It requires both systematic approach and consistency. Firms must be proactive and such follow all three states of finding, forming and performing diligently. References: Birkinshaw, J. , Bessant, J. Delbridge, R. (2006). Facts That Lead To Poverty: Th Essay -- essays research papers
Poverty occurs in most parts of the world. Nevertheless, the more serious and problematical poverty takes part in the third world and the southern parts of the globe. First of all, we have to clearly define the word “poverty';. In a broad sense, it means that people within this “poverty'; region are poor or have a lower average income per capita than other regions. To a deeper approach, we refer “poverty'; as people have low educational backgrounds, lack of food supplies, or people with lower standard of livings, etc. According to the Webster’s New World Dictionary, the word “poverty'; can be defined as: 1) the condition or quality of being poor 2) deficiency; inadequacy 3) scarcity (Webster’s p.461). Generally in this essay, we will examine the facts that lead to the poverty of these third world and southern countries. The first and the most serious problem that causes by poverty are hunger, or preciously, malnutrition. We can find these kinds of problems almost all over Africa and some other underdeveloped countries. These were witnessed by thousands of people through TV, radio, newspaper, journals, etc. “In the early 1980s, the mass media dramatically brought us the picture of hunger from Africa – starving children, skin and bone, with their bloated bellies, too weak to even stand up.'; (Warnock p.1) At the same time, people living in more developed countries or wealthy states are enjoying different kinds of delicious meals and dumping whatever they don’t like. Why would this happen? Can we refer this to the government or economical policies that rise the problems? To further explore the problem of hunger in Africa, we can easily relate this to poverty. In fact, there may be some other problems that cause the hunger. For example, local drought in the African Sahel that damages t he cropping; which in turn shorten the local food supplies. The other factor is the rapid population growth in Africa. Increasing capita means an increase demand of food. People in Africa are rarely taught the knowledge of birth-control. “If you have money you eat well, no matter how fast the population around you is growing and no matter how short the supplies of energy or land or fertilizer.'; (Kent p.77) According to Kent’s view, we shall see that money can buy off th... ...ization.'; (Jackson p.440) Dependency theory actually suggests that LDCs should not follow the Western route to development. It also suggests that forcing the undeveloped countries to compete globally will only increase the gap between Third World countries and developed states. In other word, it increases poverty in those Third World countries. The existence of these Third World countries is only to provide cheap labors for the benefit of richer states. In the above case (Indonesia), government growed crops that are for sale on the world market for cheap prices rather than to provide food for the poor. This is a good example of benefiting the Western states while giving up the whole interest of domestic people. We can see that Third World and southern countries like Africa and Indonesia are still facing the problem of poverty. In order to work their way out, the governments should apply some appropriate policies and economic applications to overcome the problem. On the other hand, the richer states or more developed countries should provide the necessary financial aid to those poorer countries. They should work hand-to-hand in order to strengthen the global benefit and interest.

Creative learning environments in education Essay
Education is one of the important aspects of oneââ¬â¢s life. â⬠learning creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking giving knowledge, knowledge to make you greatâ⬠(Abdul Kalam, 2015). This clearly shows that education creates creative and inventive person because if one thinks then a new idea is born, â⬠Education is not a factual learning, but a thought-thinking educationâ⬠(Albert Einstein, 2015) .so everybody needs to support and encourage the younger generation to pursue their studies to university level. Furthermore, in a free market, higher education would become the preserve of wealthy families who can afford to send their children to university. Therefore there is a strong case for the government providing higher education free at the point of use. In my opinion, the government has to give free education to attract students to further their studies. Education has positive benefits for the rest of society. There also have some country provides fre e university education for the student for example, in, Nordic nations Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden all offer opportunities to study free or at low-cost: In Norway, university study is available free of charge to all students, regardless of study level or nationality. My first point is equality. There is also a strong argument that university education should be free to ensure equal opportunities. If a student has to pay university education, this can prevent them. Theoretically, students can borrow or work part-time, but this may be enough to prevent students from learning and otherwise can enter the early job market. (Pettinger, 2017) Equality plays an important role in university-level education. â⬠Education is the strongest weapon you can use to transform the worldâ⬠(Mandela, 2017). University education is very important for an individual to improve his / her standard of living and to advance the nation. If everyone gets a full university education then negligence can be avoided and they know what needs to be done for their bright future. For example, if medical education is given free then many doctors in the country are born and can help the community by providing free medical services with this reduced rate of death and illness. Governments have to stress more profoundly to give birth to many graduates. Besides, the enhancement of the specialization of work. There are many specializations of which are specialization by professional, specialization by a process, specialization by region and international specialization. The global economy has forced countries, such as the UK to specialize in higher value-added products and higher-end products and services. The largest export industries in the UK include pharmaceuticals, organic chemicals, optical and surgical instruments, and nuclear technology (Pettinger, 2017). Therefore, there is a greater opportunity for skilled graduates who can contribute to this high-tech industry. The world is now pointing towards technology, so all countries should produce IT graduates in large quantities. IT plays a big role in this capital world as an example human beings can stay on planet Mars, there is water on the planet Pluto, and so can be detected through NASA technology. Furthermore, Education is a virtue. One of the virtues is that people can underestimate the benefits of learning and undervalue of higher education. â⬠Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts â⬠(Churchill, 2017). This clearly shows that education is not merely a thought but a birth to a human being Experienced in education. Education creates good and high potential for self-development, society, and nation. If one is fully educated in the university then one has a lot of job opportunities in the state as well as international level. University education is not just for work but it can be used in everyday life. For example, a retail store trader has experience on product brands, prices, shortages and advantages of a product that can promote to the community can help improve the level of communication.
